Based on many years of training analysts and supervising high school teaching, Carlos Byington wrote the book The Affectionate Construction of Knowledge – Fundament and Finality of Jungian Symbolic Education (Ed. W11, São Paulo, 2004).
In this book he describes teaching based on symbolic constructivism, which includes cognitive objective learning together with subjective emotional reactions.
Carlos Byington coordinates theoretical seminaries and gives lectures in congresses and institutions. He also coordinates groups of clinical supervision and multi disciplinary study groups for people interested in developing the understanding of symbolic life, both in psychotherapy and culture. |
